INFOPAY PRIVACY POLICY


Overview
This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which Infopay collects, uses, maintains and discloses information collected from users of the Infopay website and software. Infopay respects your right to privacy and will not collect any personal information about you without your clear permission.  Any personal information which you volunteer to us will be treated with the highest standards of security and confidentiality, strictly in accordance with the Data Protection Acts, 1988 & 2003.

This privacy policy applies to the website www.infopay.ie and all products and services offered by Infopay. 

Collection and use of Personal Data
Infopay collects information as described below for the following purposes:

  • When someone purchases our software, we collect the user’s name, mailing address and phone number for billing purposes. We also collect email addresses for support purposes. This information is only used to address user query and it is not share with outside companies.
  • On occasion we collect credit or debit card information. This information is used to process payment and it is only shared with payment processing companies for such purpose. This information is not retained by Infopay.
  • On occasion we may receive client files for support purposes. These files may provide access to employee information being processed. This data is stored on a secure sever and is deleted as soon as the issue is resolved. This information is not retained by Infopay.
  • On occasion our technicians may obtain remote access to client’s computers solely for support purposes and as such may have visual access to employees data. This data is not recorded in any format and all access ceases once the session is complete and terminated.

Security
Your Personal data is held on secure servers hosted by Lynx Technology Ltd.  No data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.  However, we will take all reasonable steps to protect your Personal Data

Organisational Restructuring
We reserve the right to transfer information (including your personal data) in the event of a restructuring of our organisation to a third party which takes over the functions of our organisation, provided that the third party has an equivalent privacy policy in place.

Retention
We only retain your data for as long as is necessary and for the purpose(s) specified

Right of Access & Accuracy
We endeavour to keep your data accurate, complete and up to date. If you find that your data we hold is inaccurate please let us know and we will make the necessary amendments.

If we are processing personal data based on your consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time. This does not affect the lawfulness of processing which took place prior to its withdrawal.
